Principal

Don DeBernardi is a Certified Financial Planner® and has been practicing as a fee-only financial advisor since 2001. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from California State University Fresno. Since 2001, Don has played a major role in the firm’s growth from less than $25 million in assets under management to well over $300 million today. In 2010, he completed the purchase of Sierra Asset Management from the firm’s founder, Alan Graas, and is now serving as the company’s president. Don has served on the Board of Directors for the Oakhurst Sierra Sunrise Rotary Club, the Oakhurst Area Chamber of Commerce and the Oakhurst Community Center. He lives in Bass Lake, California with his wife Kristi and their five children where they enjoy the outdoors in their free time.

Although as a Registered Investment Advisory firm we are legally obligated to act in our clients’ best interest, we passionately believe this is the best business model and simply the right thing to do. Every client’s investment portfolio is viewed within the context of their overall financial plan and thus unique to that client. Planning strategies are always customized to the client.
We continually conduct research and learn. We utilize peer-reviewed, evidence-based planning and investment strategies and continually seek out new knowledge that may benefit our clients. We regularly review the latest academic journals and attend the leading continuing education conferences in the country, as well as conduct our own research.
We provide full transparency and disclosure of fees. Fees will always be fully disclosed and easy to understand.
